My first project under Dr. Paw U involved using eddy-covariance method to study the carbon exchange rate between the atmosphere and the old-growth conifer forest at Wind River, Washington. The project is part of the AmeriFlux network, which provides continuous observations of ecosystem level exchanges of CO2, water, energy and momentum spanning diurnal, synoptic, seasonal, and interannual time scales and is currently composed of sites from North America, Central America, and South America.
I'm currently working under the direction of Dr. Kyaw Tha Paw U on a new project to study the carbon efflux rate from oxygen measurements of the soil.
